Allman Goldflies Band & Melody Trucks Band
Saturday June 23, 2018
Show: 8:00 pm
$10:00 advance – $13.00 day of the show
The Allman Goldflies Band (AGB) appearance at the Skipper’s Smokehouse features the band hot off the road promoting their new release, Second Chance.
Reinvigorating southern rock, the AGB draws it’s influence from rock music’s rich past. David Goldflies, a former member of the Allman Brothers Band (79-83) and bassist on the hit single “Black Betty” brings a mix of blues, rock, and jam band energy to the stage. Gary Allman’s soulful voice and songs add a true southern heart to the group. Performing future southern anthems such as “Southern’s All I Ever Want to Be” and “Standing in the Georgia Rain” from their Second Chance album, the band has been rocking audiences everywhere they go.
Come out and join in with the next generation of southern music.

Their new album “Second Chance” will be available at the show.
Also co-headlining the show is The Melody Trucks Band.
After touring with Butch Trucks and the Freight Train, Melody Trucks immersed herself in the increasingly rich and diverse music scene in Jacksonville, Florida. The Melody Trucks Band came together in early 2017 as she encountered each member within this extended musical family. Their individual styles and influences run the entire span of every music genre: rock, blues, jazz, funk, classical, country, thrash metal, and even world music. This has culminated in fresh and unique interpretations of iconic songs from the genre of Melody’s extended family.
